  • Artist's Brushes for Potters/Painters
All brushes are made using natural hairs for the heads, an assortment of different  bamboo species for the handles, and leather or linen for the hanging straps. The decorative handle wraps are done with waxed Irish Linen threads.  I hand-craft them all in my Harpers Ferry studio, using strong epoxy resins as the adhesive, and with minimal care will provide many years of use in your studio.

  • Decorating/Calligraphy Brush Assortment
I currently use a wide variety hair types for these production brushes.  The "salt and pepper" black/white is from Gray Squirrel, and the beautiful orange hair is from Red Squirrel.  The longer coarser white and brown mix is Eastern White Tail Deer tail - or "BuckTail"  The squirrel hair is quite soft and absorbent and good for thin to medium materials.  The BuckTail is somewhat coarse and works best for medium (think tomato soup) to thick materials.  I also use Ringtail Cat tail hair, and a variety of weasel family hairs.
